No experience is required. Our program welcomes beginners as well as experienced wrestlers. Coaches teach fundamental skills and help each athlete progress at their own pace.

Yes. Wrestling emphasizes control, technique, and body awareness. We require proper gear, teach safe training habits, and supervise all drills and matches to minimize risk.

Hygiene is a major part of staying healthy and safe in wrestling. Because the sport involves close contact and shared mats, proper hygiene helps prevent skin infections and keeps both wrestlers and teammates protected. Athletes should shower as soon as possible after practice or competition, wear clean practice clothes each day, and keep their wrestling shoes, headgear, and gear bags clean. Coaches also sanitize mats regularly, but consistent personal hygiene is the wrestler’s responsibility. Good habits keep everyone healthy and allow athletes to train and compete without unnecessary interruptions.

For practice, wrestlers should bring comfortable athletic clothes, proper wrestling shoes, and a water bottle. For tournaments, athletes must have wrestling shoes, a water bottle, wrestling headgear, and the team-issued warm-up shirt and singlet.

The registration fees cover the cost of your wrestler's singlet (uniform), a team shirt, and a basic membership with USA Wrestling.

Parents are welcome to attend practices, help with transportation, and volunteer at events. Supportive encouragement at home makes a big difference in a wrestler’s confidence and growth.
