ZACH

HEAD COACH

My name is Zach. I began wrestling at the age of 6 with the Eatonville Jr. Cruiser Wrestling team and continued the sport for 12 years, competing all the way through high school for Eatonville. Wrestling has taught me discipline, perseverance, and the value of hard work—lessons that have stuck with me far beyond the mat. Now, I’m honored to help grow the sport of wrestling in our community. My goal is to coach every kid who steps on the mat—not just in wrestling, but in life. I’m passionate about giving back to the program that helped shape who I am, and I’m excited for the opportunity to lead, teach, and support the next generation of wrestlers here in Eatonville.

CAUY

ASSISTANT COACH

Coach Cauy has been involved in wrestling since he was five years old, building a lifelong connection to the sport. He is driven by a deep appreciation for the wrestling community and the opportunity to give back to the athletes who come after him. Believing firmly that “what you put in is what you get out,” he sees wrestling as a powerful force that shapes character and resilience. One of his proudest milestones is stepping into the assistant coaching role for the team, a position he values greatly. As an athlete, a standout moment in his journey was winning the SPSL in 7th grade, an accomplishment that fueled his growth and set him on the path to coaching.  Outside the wrestling mat, Coach Cauy is passionate about rodeo, a lifelong pursuit and one of the biggest blessings in his life. He brings that same dedication, toughness, and heart from the arena into every practice and mentorship moment.

NATHAN

COACH

Coach Nathan began coaching youth wrestling thanks to his wife, Nicole, whose enthusiasm for getting their kids on the mat inspired him to get involved. His coaching philosophy is simple: anyone can learn to wrestle with patience, effort, and a willingness to grow. He works to create an encouraging environment where young athletes gain confidence and improve each day.

Although he first tried wrestling at age five, Coach Nathan didn’t truly return to the sport until his 30s, when he set out to learn the sport his family loves. With plenty of research—and tough practice sessions with his brother-in-law, Coach Zach—he built the knowledge he now brings to the team. One of his proudest achievements is contributing to his son’s success in reaching the PCJWL Championships in his second season.

Off the mat, he enjoys lifting weights, skateboarding, and cooking. Above all, Coach Nathan hopes his athletes learn that a single moment in time does not define their entire journey.
